With the beginning of 2017, a 2-year scientific and technology cooperation grant has been awarded (BMBF – 01DP17004) to support the knowledge transfer and scientist exchange between the Molecular Biotechnology group of Dr. Janosch Klebensberger at the ITB and the groups of Prof. Scott Rice and Prof. Julien Lescar at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Aim of the "NAPA" project is the exploration of specific signal interference strategies to combat biofilm formation in the opportunistic pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
