Prof. Jeltsch has been appointed as member of the editorial board of Biochimie. Biochimie is a society journal, belonging to the French Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SFBBM). Founded 1914 with the title Bulletin de la Société de Chimie Biologique, it was renomaned in 1971 to Biochimie and is one of the biochemical journals with longest tradition. Today, Biochimie is a multi-topical journal, publishing original work as well as review articles and mini-reviews in all areas of biology (enzymology, genetics, immunology, microbiology, structure of macromolecules). The current impact factor is 3.7.
